Memory 29
Neutral Significant: Age 7 through 14. (Form: Bag of team colored fruit candies tied with a bright ribbon. 1/6)
Mostly it's significant because LONG TIME. Also more of my weird headcanons to apply rules to Akako's powers. Namely why I'm going with the seven year things. Contract is a memory that will be happening before this memory, but after the first seven years of childhood memory. Contract is when Akako is officially given her magic powers, with those first seven years before mental training. THESE seven years (or rather six years as the Mama memory happens in the middle of this) is more learning her magic hands on.
The first memory she will remember is waking up, feeling mentally exhausted, but also excited. She will start actual magic training. She will also notice a SHIFT in the boys around her. The boys give her more attention, both good and bad because they're little boys with crushes. Akako didn't take none of that bullying the girl you like thing though, she would either tell on them until she figures out to sick the other boys on them. This also started the divide with the girls because the ones who were jealous were most vocal, so she pretty much wrote them off. The magician meeting memory also happens somewhere around here in the early years. A LOT of girls said magic wasn't real at her, and also got the impression a lot of boys were humoring her.
Also getting a lot of witch thoughts. Witch are betters, witches use force to get what they want, manipulation is part of this force. Some witch history and stuff. Though actual INFORMATION on how to do the spells is fuzzy unless they have to do with magic she already has. She also learns more about what's out in the world and where to find stuff.
AS FAR AS THEY KNOW, the Red Arts is the last line. They are a witch type of manipulation and subterfuge, so they didn't get burnt at the stake. The demons won't confirm this, but as far as Akako knows, she's the last witch.
AFTER her mother dies, Akako will get more manipulative and start to develop her masks. She puts together the stereotypes, how to act, who reacts to what, basically the start of the construction of the person Akako would one day be.
She also gets some of how the charm magic works. She doesn't understand the full set of rules, but she knows it's on all the time? And it's an area affect, which led to her trying to act like a girl most people would like so they would not realize they've been charmed. Mostly she picks up these aspects because they are SO CONSTANT, it's impossible not to by context alone.
It ends with preparation for another magical ceremony. Because seven is getting the magic, up to fourteen is training the magic, and then after will be another seven years perfecting magic until a MAJOR power boost at twenty-one. Which is when Akako could go take over the world with full male population enslavement. =D
