Skill 1

Other Skill: Never gonna cry. (Form: Ripe white peach.)

Where it came from, what it is.
So this one actually came up in my research to figure out what mythology of witchcraft Akako's character was drawn from. Specifically the thing about her never crying or losing her magic. Results were lacking. I found a version of a stage show of the Bell, Book, and Candle that says when the main lady, a witch, cried due to her love, she lost her powers. I suspect Gosho and the creator of a sentai series took their witch inspiration from this movie.

And I think that the movie took inspiration from a story from around Joan of Arc time where it was possible to test for a witch by seeing if the woman could cry. Which deals with the idea that it is the Saints who grant people tears and with witches being involved with the devil, they don't have tears. So torture some ladies and if they can last without crying, it's time to burn the witch!

However, Akako can cry, there's a risk of it for her power. So I kind of combined the ideas since I have to do a lot of interpretations for what rules Akako's powers follow anyway.

So what this ability actually is, is Akako Will Not Cry...from physical stimuli. Using the myth from the Joan of Arc thing, the idea is the witches had a choice. They could cry and lose their magic, OR they could refuse and hope they can somehow escape the fire. The idea is the magic is so cherished, there would be some who would die a witch.

Akako will not cry from a physical reason. Yawning, laughing too hard, tickling, pain, torture, lemon juice in the eye. She just won't. It will also affect her behavior at those times. Basically being that badass spy whose just 'fuck you,' but still keeping her mind together during those times.

I always take the not crying thing as a sacrifice, and took into consideration Akako's power. If you're going to manipulate emotions, you better be in control of your own. That's why the ONLY WAY for Akako to cry is to utterly destroy her emotionally. Be it by showing her such kindness she doesn't know how to deal with it, or have something dig in deep and destroy it, or whatever other reason for someone to cry emotionally.

Basic idea, not gonna no matter what you do physically, and the only shot is to attack her emotionally. Now this second part just means that's the ONLY possibility, not that it's going to. But instead of rolling with it, Akako has to fight for it.

Mostly it's an ability formed on will power and possibly magical exposure to ensure it was working. But then again, when you're blowing off Lucifer like it's nothing, it requires an incredibly strong will.

Also should definitely have a skill to keep herself from cancelling out most of her skills in case she was, say, dumped into an acid vat and had to be revived.

Psychological Affects
Kira won't actually know WHAT happens when she takes her skill. Overall, it's a pretty passive ability and was definitely second nature to Akako. Biggest thing will how she reacts to physical things and when things go terrible. When things go terrible, her emotions will shut down far more quickly and distance herself. It will require someone she cares about to be in harms way before her emotions will react. But even then, the reaction will be muted. Mostly because she's already burying the bad into a little ball. The bad stuff will need to pile on more before she reaches breaking.

But it will probably be more noticeable for physical things. More composed for those physical things that could make her cry, able to roll with pain better, keep her head together far more than expected from Japanese High School Girl. It's still all hitting her body and her body will hit it's limits, but essentially, she can keep her mind together until her body DOES and she just...won't cry.
