Multiple Alternity: A new world. (Form: A chestnut that can be cracked in half. 1/4)
So after Akako has been discharged from the hospital, months pass. For want of what else to do, she travels around and makes charms to help crops grow and basically act as a medicine woman. She's traveling around with Hakuba mostly, but sometimes the others. They all kind of travel between the Gumma Prefecture, the Osaka safety zone, and the Tokyo Division One safety zone. They have their reunions, and it's all joyous. More people arrive that Akako...still doesn't really care about.
But she keeps in contact with her things and that's the important part. Kaito is still mute, and Conan is still gathering up the pieces of what he had forgotten. Unfortunately Akako could fix that for them. Still, they adjust, they move on.
There's a lot of burning bodies those first few weeks, but life is moving on and people are rebuilding.
It's September, and Akako returns with Hakuba to see everyone again when Aoko's birthday rolls around. It's a nice reunion. She's still pretty emotionally dead, but she can care about these people and that's enough for her.
As the party winds down, Akako sees Aoko smile again.
And she's all there.
Break Down

Multiple Alternity: The solution. (Form: Snap pea, snap and eat. Non-shareable.)
They travel again for a few more weeks. Things are...easier. Akako is still in No Fucks Zone, but she's less prickling with hostility if they happen to meet others. Mostly because their group is huge and no one is gonna mess with them because they kick ass. They're pretty safe and it's a wonder to see how Kaito's group works together. They travel from villa to villa thanks to Sonoko knowing where people live. They really are a scarily effective group. Lots of combat people and Kaito is still a ninja and Aoko is a terrifying berserker. Even the kids help out because they're good at getting into the small places and follow orders well and know first aid.
Haibara often teaches them. There's shifts. Conan is in some weird place between a child's personality and a competent adult, but still has his detective intelligence. Vermouth is frustratingly mysterious.
Had to explain she's magic to Kogoro and Eri, that was fun.
The big group also eventually drags Kogoro, Eri, Makoto, Hakuba, and Akako into the cuddlepile. Vermouth does hover closer each night though. And seems oddly attached to Ran.
Eventually though, they find another lab in the Gumma Prefecture. Because Misao Yamamura is just paranoid enough to have had AN ENTIRE PLAN FOR A ZOMBIE OUTBREAK. It's an inspector that the detective folks know and he seems kind of dim, but hey, they have a LAB. Haibara proceeds to study Vermouth's blood, Akako does a bunch of magical things, and they just work for WEEKS doing this. Haibara eventually comes up with something. And Akako figures out a way to spread it.
Akako goes out with the others on one last run. She needs Supplies. There are zombies and close calls, and they travel deep into some mountains and to the sea and may have involved slaying a Kitsune and finding a mermaid, but they manage to get what Akako needs.
She returns to the lab. She prepares the spell, wait for the full moon, with as much antidote as Haibara could make. She casts it.
She passes out.
Comatose for about two weeks.
Gets an update when she wakes up from Hakuba.
It worked. In the way...they expected. The zombie thing was neutralized, which meant it no longer kept the dead bodies alive.
They...didn't have any recent enough zombies who weren't likely to die from their injuries to see if those people might have been brought back to life. But all the zombies with horribly decayed bodies and obvious wounds are just dead bodies.
It's done.
Break Down
-Okay the main group is kind of nice and adorable in a sad way.
-Kids are cute, okay...
-Vermouth is still a mystery.
-Gumma is TOTALLY FINE.
-Because Yamamura is ridiculous.

Multiple Alternity: Who am I, what am I to do? (Form: Simple silver crown. Wear it. 1/8)
Akako wakes up in a dark, cavernous crystal lair type place. She's sitting in a throne. She isn't alone, with a little boy in a chair beside her. Akako quickly realizes she does not know this little boy and, in fact, cannot remember who she is. She gets up, walking around, trying to figure out some clue to who she is. She's dressed in an all black dress and has a crown, but it's all a mystery to her.
Eventually the boy (Conan), wakes up. He also does not remember anything! And he's all dressed up like a little prince too. So, with this kid, can't remember jack.
Then a lizard man suddenly enters the room and starts addressing them queen and prince and what. Akako demands to know what he's talking about and then he acts all concerned and being afraid of this. He goes on to explain how their enemies attacked them with magic. They weren't sure if their memories would return.
But they are still needed! Earth is a planet that is supposed to be protected from alien races. It's too young for all the power of the universe. Their race, kind and benevolent, had placed a protection system in the Earth, but the enemy has knocked it offline. It's possible to turn it back on, but they must be able to access it. No easy feat since they didn't want humans to find it. It's a device that must be accessed with energy, to open the rift to the dimensional pocket where it's housed.
Unfortunately their forces had been decimated and they must do something...regrettable for the greater good. They need to steal energy from the people and capture one of the access points.
With no memories to truly question it, Akako agrees. For the greater good. Conan is a bit more skeptical, but relents.
Then Akako asks for their names.
She is Akane. He's Takuma. They are brother and sister.

-AMNESIA.
-(Ain't that familiar.)
-Oh hey, a kid.
-Yeah, neither of them remember anything.
