Skill 6 - IMPORTANT
Special Skill: Charm (Form: A small crystal. Breathe on it. Not Taken.)
The skill that's Akako's signature ability and the thing that made her go crazy on Kaito. (And how she found out he was Kid in the first place.)
It is a passive area affect love spell. As soon as Akako is within range of sight, the spell takes affect. She can't shut it off on her own.
It primarily just works on guys, but I'm going to rule of funny this and say if a girl is at all likely to be attracted to another girl, they can have the charm spell affect them too.
It is a LOVE spell. Not obsession or lust. The feelings and reactions it invokes is like if the person was actually feeling genuine love for her. If someone awkward turtles around their crush, they awkward turtle, if they yandere for their loves, they yandere, etc.
The DEPTH of that love depends on several factors. One is will. If they're weak willed, the love they feel will be stronger. If they're already IN LOVE, then the spell will be weaker. How strongly they love their significant other will weaken the love they have for Kira. It won't be GONE, but it's more crush level unless Kira plays into it. (She probably won't.)
This is NOT outright mind control. Kira cannot force someone to do something they would not be willing to do for someone else they'd have that level of affection for.
As soon as they leave the area of affect, the spell stops working. THIS IS PARTLY WHY AKAKO WAS NICE TO ALL HER FANBOYS. She acted like someone they COULD possibly like so they wouldn't notice the depth of those feelings are gone and go under the assumption that they do still love her.
As such, people who are particularly clever, good with understanding their own feelings, or actually have really strong negative feelings towards Kira may notice that this happens and realize something is up.
BUT THE ABILITY IS OPT IN/OPT OUT.
There is a powercap in Aather, so that might be making the energy be on the fritz and that's why your character is not affected. Of course if your character has natural abilities to resist magical influence, they got that.
I'm also going to say that during a game, the ability is even MORE on the fritz, so if you want your character to be affected outside of a game, but not in a game because of convenience, you can do that too.
Mostly this is WHO WANTS TO PLAY GETTING LOVE SPELLED FOR THE LULZ. I'm easy for whatever people want to do.
AND ANOTHER NOTE is Kira will be trying to find a way to restrain this power as soon as she realized she took this. (She will think it's a memory because she got it while everyone else had memories.) So this is likely to only be a short time thing and maybe only come up occasionally depending on how things go.
YET ANOTHER NOTE Kira has a quest from Three of Three. She has to keep a Chinese finger trap unraveled to repress her ability. If she doesn't do this, not only will charm come back, she'll fall in love anyone affected as well.
