Memory 28

Negative-Significant: Meeting a magician. (Form: Kunzite colored feather. Stick it behind the ear. 2/3)

A headcanon memory inspired from this and this little exchange. More how Akako has to insist that magic can do what fake magic is and how bitter she seems to be at a magician's 'deceit.'

So when Akako was a little girl, she went to a magic show. It was the first time she really saw someone outside of her circle that was 'doing magic.' She thought it would actually be someone who truly believed in magic and she went backstage to meet the magician. Unfortunately, this particular magician was kind of a jerk and didn't want to deal with a kid talking about magic.

He said magic wasn't a real, that it was all just sleight of hand and tricks, and had security throw her out. Hearing the audience talk about his marvels just made her mad because she realized that it was all a trick and everyone seemed so inclined to believe HIS magic while everyone said her magic wasn't real.

Break Down
-Little girl again!
-Oooooo, pretty magic show.
-Someone else is doing magic! =D
-Oh, oh, it's someone else, want to meet!
-Sneaking back stage.
-Talking to magician about all the magic.
-Magician is a jerk. ):
-Says it's all fake and magic isn't real.
-Security gently throws her out.
-Audience all marveling at his magic.
-BUT IT'S NOT REAL!
-And everyone says mine isn't real.
-):

Meaning
And thus Akako was forever bitter at magicians until Kaito topped her.

It's a very disheartening memory. Not only is magic really not that common back home, but she really did want people to believe it was real. Kiiiind of making it obvious how lonely she really might have been. '-'

Any other affects probably coming from Kaito interactions.
