Multiple Alternity: Trio going cross country. (Form: Chocolate lips in red foil. Remove foil. Non-shareable.)
It's very obvious that by this point, Akako has absolutely no fucks to give. They're traveling across country, heading for a certain location for whatever reason. Akako is still working on some spells for zombies, does a certain spell regularly, though she's not sure what it is. Whenever they meet other survivors, Akako is distant, only ever watching. A few times they get into a conflict, but Hakuba and Makoto are VERY desperate to end it themselves, telling Akako to stay back. Akako knows it's not because they think her incapable, because they let her go crazy on zombies. No, it's not to protect HER.
...no fucks to give may be a lie.
She is very close to Makoto and Hakuba. She'll often share a bed with Hakuba. They just have a lot of moments of quiet touching or whispers of it's okay and it's the only time where Akako doesn't seem like she's one bad day away from wrecking everything.
Makoto is a simple fellow, but also seems to realize when Akako needs a break. He watches both her and Hakuba and makes them relax when it can be afforded and they need too. Sometimes Akako will rant at him about frustrations with a spell or zombies, and he listens and it's oddly soothing.
They are her things and her bros and whatever glimmer of happiness she can feel, it's around them.
She'll regularly call the other group. And it's usually talking to Hattori, Ran, or Sonoko. She asks them for updates on Kaito and Aoko. They say they're fine, or Aoko's getting better. There are a few, short conversations with Aoko on the phone later, but they're always short and Aoko sounds SO TIRED.
Though occasionally she'll talk to Haibara, and they will compare zombie notes. Akako will try to translate it as closely to science as possible and try to decipher what Haibara is saying. It's...progress.
It's months and eventually they're getting close to their destination.

Dead feelings. Dead feelings everywhere.
Multiple Alternity: Why it's better to not restrain Makoto or Hakuba. (Form: Sparkling pumpkin handmirror. Look into it. 1/4)
Akako is getting really jaded by this point. There's a few days of them surviving and she keeps doing this ritual for Reasons. They're still traveling along, and eventually have to camp out in the woods because they couldn't find a place to stay. They all plan to sleep in the car, but do make a fire and have dinner and all that.
About partway through dinner, though, they're interrupted by a group. Akako is immediately tense, but Hakuba whispers that they're nowhere near the end of a certain time limit, she's fine.
The survivors are all amiable and pleasant and even offer a bit of food. Safety in numbers and all that. The trio decide to let them join them. Akako doesn't eat much because she's still tense, and she didn't eat much anyway. Unfortunately Akako is so distracted with something not holding she doesn't notice at first how insistent the men are for their group to eat.
Not until Makoto sways a bit and Akako is on her feet because Makoto does not sway. Hakuba and Makoto jump and try to stand when she does, but they stumble and fall. It's then the men makes it apparent that they drugged the food. A little bit here is worth the amount they'll get from their supplies...and maybe them.
Not like a little girl could stop them, look how thin she is.
Makoto and Hakuba immediately try to tell the men to leave, trying to get up, get in the way, but to no avail. Two of them restrain them and the other two move for Akako and this.
This is a mistake.
Akako starts talking. Calling them vile beasts, horrendous monsters, saying how much worse they are then the undead. The men laugh, though slightly unnerved because this isn't the desperate righteous fury that they were probably used to. This was pure contempt and confidence and Akako is just filled with so much hate.
"You're mistaken, if you think they're trying to protect me," Akako said calmly, all tension leaving her body and she smiles faintly.
"Akako-san, don't do it!" Hakuba shouted.
"I don't need their protection. You did."
And Akako just let's loose. She electrocutes and fireballs the first two, causing the other two to run because a woman just suddenly shot out fire and electricity. Which was a mistake as it freed Akako to attack them.
She then grabs her scythe and is about ready to kill them. Hakuba is still pleading with her and she is THIS CLOSE to killing them.
But she stops.
She packs up the camp, ignoring the whimpers of the men because she didn't hold back on them. Then she drags Makoto and Hakuba in the back. She drives away.
They pass zombies along the way, heading where they had been.
Akako doesn't care.
Break Down
-More surviving.
-A spell I do regularly...?
-Camping out for the night.
-NERVOUS ABOUT THESE VISITORS, but no, time limit is safe so we're good...?
-They brought food, safety in numbers.
-Well, fine.

-Bad men, want supplies, maybe cannibals.
-Makoto and Hakuba restrained.
-Men trying to corner her...
-Haha, NO MORE FUCKS TO GIVE.
-You are vile pieces of trash that I can no longer give a fuck about. :)
-No, no, Makoto and Hakuba weren't trying to protect ME.
-FIREBALL AND LIGHTNING BOLTS FOR THE BAD MEN.

FUCK OTHER SURVIVORS.
Yeah, Hakuba and Makoto are right to not let her fight humans, she is a terror and will kill them.
Haha, all my feelings are dying.
Multiple Alternity: The charm really is doing more harm than good now. (Form: A tiny clear bottle. Put in a liquid and drink it. Unlimited uses.)
There's always assholes in zombieland. Unfortunately, Akako's charm make them all the more obvious. They meet one group of survivors, a couple and some high schoolers. There's safety in numbers, so they stick around in their reinforced grocery stores.
Akako's charm magic starts affecting the boys. Which, under normal circumstances, is all right, she can manipulate them into not fighting. The problem is, zombies ramp up emotions up to eleven and it happens too fast for her to control. What started as subtle flirting at first quickly degrades into outright wooing within hours...and competition. And fighting. Luckily Makoto separated aggressive parties. Hakuba asks Akako what's going on because he knows she's popular, but he sees even the male of the couple was wanting to throw his hat in.
She doesn't explain.
Then in the middle of the night, one guy decides to get VERY handsy and that kind of results in Akako electrocuting him because HELL NO. Except no there's an electrocuted kid, and while he's not dead, that's not easy to explain away. Yelling starts happening and Akako just NOPES HARDCORE and kicks up the charm a notch and just hits all the boys with feel good feelings.
The girls are very disturbed by this and confused because what just happened, and in the confusion, Akako grabs Hakuba and Makoto and BOOKS IT.
But they're both very aware something happened and finally, Akako explains about the charm. They ask why she had it on, she said she can't turn it OFF. And she's realized how dangerous it is because it's manageable when people aren't on the verge of madness, but now...
They ask why they're all right. She shrugs and says Hakuba is already used to it, so it's normalized. Makoto is just kind of weird and probably because his feelings for Sonoko are strong enough to give him sanity.
Akako develops a new project to repress the Charm. She works on this for two weeks, where they meet groups, but quickly leave whenever guys start showing excessive interest in her.
Eventually she figures out a spell and casts it. She...has to cast it regularly, but at least it makes it less dangerous around survivors.
More killed feelings.
Break Down
-Surviving, surviving, surviving.
-Oh, hey, survivors in a grocery store!
-Safety in numbers.
-Oh, the boys are flirting, okay.
-The boys are...very aggressive without my encouragement.
-No, wait, don't fight, stop that!
-Shit, shit, shit.
-My boys help.
-Haha, no, don't explain.
-There is sleep, but a boy tried to get lucky.
-Without my approval.
-ELECTROCUTION BECAUSE NO MEANS NO.
-There is chaos and shit shit shit-
-Akako just MIND ZONKS ALL OF THEM.
-And they book it out of there while the women try to figure out what's wrong.
-Akako explains the charm to Hakuba and Makoto.
-Hakuba is already used to the low level feelings, and how to deal with them.
-Makoto is weird and has strong feelings, so it provides him with some resistance.
-Akako works on a way to repress her charm ability.
-Wariness around survivors while trying to do this!
-Gets it after some weeks, but needs to be done regularly.
-But can approach survivors more easily now.
-More dead feelings.

Oh, so that's the ritual.

Makoto and Hakuba are still bros.
Multiple Alternity: Contact and why are all my things broken? At least we have a plan. (Form: A crystal. Hold it to view. Non-shareable.)
It's been three weeks since zombies. Akako has figured out a way to grant immunity and has it on all three of them. It's a couple more days after the whole excitement with Makoto of just normal survival going on. They find an abandon motel to hole up in one night, which thankfully has a generator! Akako takes the opportunity to charge the cell phones and works on spells for connection and power getting.
Then they get a text.
Akako answers, telling Makoto to keep watch and calling Hakuba over. The voice they get is...not who they expected! Yet they both recognize it as Hattori, Akako from stalking, Hakuba from meetings. Akako demands to know why he has Kaito's phone and where is he and...well, Hattori explains.
Kaito can't talk. His vocal cords have been seemingly paralyzed. He's fine and he can text if they really need it, which they do, and Kaito makes a text about giving Akako a white carnation so she knows it's him and she can confirm to Hakuba. Back on the phone with Hattori, Akako demands the whole story.
Kaito found a gem called Pandora. Akako recognizes the name and knows what it's supposed to do and it pretty much fits everything she had been worried about. Pandora is a god item, and you don't mess with those items and not expect consequences. Undead instead of immortality was fitting punishment for their sin. Kaito then asks about the other affects. He claims it was Pandora that affected his vocal cords and...
There's a brief argument with Hattori and Kaito about Kudo and Akako is just like 'I already know about the little detective and whatever danger he's in doesn't really matter anymore.'
Shinichi got amnesia. Can't remember anything. Akako ponders it for a minute before she said it was a punishment for their sins. Kaito is a liar, who fools with pretty words, so they were taken. Shinichi masked who he was entirely, so he lost himself. She can't be sure, but it would make as much sense as anything.
Hattori goes on to explain how Kaito caught up to them trying to drop off Conan, but then they ended up together. It's at that point Akako and Hakuba hear a voice calling for Kaito. It's Aoko, but she sounds...airy, and unsure.
There's a long silence when Akako asks why Aoko isn't explaining.
Aoko had been alone those first three days. They're not sure what happened, but she was found in a safe Kid room in Kaito's house. Both of their parents were gone, but there was blood in the house, and she was...broken. Very, very broken.
Hakuba takes the phone and continues the conversation, asking who else was with them. When he hears Sonoko is there, he hands off the phone to Makoto and takes watch. More subdued.
Akako takes a few minutes to BURY EVERY SINGLE FEELING because Kaito is mute and Aoko is broken and there is divine punishment and ffffffff. But Makoto at least gets to talk happily to Sonoko, so that's something.
Akako pulls together some ingredients and takes the phone back. She warns Hattori to put down the phone and she casts a spell to maintain the connection even if the signals go down. They'll still need to find generators themselves, but it's something.
Which brings up one final thing. Hattori hands the phone off to Haibara. She asks about how much can Akako's magic do. She...doesn't know about Haibara, so it's weird, but she says a lot. Can it fix zombies? Akako says she's working on that. So far she can only grant immunity and she needs to be there in person for it. Haibara says that's good.
Then she gives her several addresses. They're laboratories. Haibara asks if Akako wants to help her save the world. Akako is pretty much ??? about the little girl and asks her what she can do.
She's a chemistry genius, Akako's already seen the proof of her work.
Kind of...has an idea, but eh, whatever if the girl is cagey. Points out which address would be the most middle place for the two groups. There's an agreement to meet there as soon as possible.
A plan if made, good-byes are exchanged.
That night, Akako clings to Hakuba in her sleep.
Break Down
-Make Hakuba and myself immune too.
-WE ARE SURVIVING THESE ZOMBIES.
-Camp out in a motel.
-Working on power spells and connection spells.
-TEXT!
-It's...Hattori?
-Kaito is mute and is with Hattori, Kazuha, Ran, Sonoko, Conan, Haibara, and the detective boys.
-Kaito found Pandora, but something went wrong with a magical ceremony.
-Instead of immortality, ZOMBIES!
-Pandora is a god item and would punish sinners.
-Kaito is mute because he's a liar, so no voice.
-And Conan can't remember ANYTHING before that day.
-Because he hid his identity.
-Kaito got caught up trying to drop him off.
-ALSO WITH AOKO.
-Aoko is broken. ):
-Probably because horrible things happened while she was alone for three days that probably involved parents.
-Oh, hey, Makoto, your girlfriend.
-AKAKO KEEPS KILLING FEELINGS.
-Cast spell to maintain connection, but still need to do power the hard way.
-Talk to Haibara Ai.
-Chemistry genius.
-Is Conan proof?
-Eh.
-Agree to meet in a laboratory between their two locations.
-Fuck yeah, we got a plan.
-Sleep with Hakuba because it just...helps a little.
Meaning
Haha, well, that explains a lot and IT'S ALL TERRIBLE.
Definitely Pandora that caused all the terrible thing though.
Kaito can't talk, Aoko is too broken to talk, and that explains why they aren't later. Also Haiabara is weird and possibly involved in the Conan crazy...?
Also guess it's been a lab we've been heading towards.
It's weird how we all ended up together, FATE WORKS IN WEIRD WAYS.
Multiple Alternity: The reunion. (Form: A palm sized snowflake. Kiss it and feel a numb chill for a few minutes. Unlimited.)
WE HAVE ARRIVED AT THE LABORATORY. First, apparently. Proceed to fortify the hell out of it. Both physical means and magical means. Clear it out of zombies. Even go to the nearest town and fill the car with supplies and are just camped out.
Do that for about a week. Hakuba tries to help Akako feel a bit because there's hope and she needs to not be cynical. It...doesn't really work, but she appreciates the effort. Makoto let's her spar with him to release tension even if it's him mostly standing.
Then the other group arrives. Kaito, Aoko, Kazuha, Hattori, Ran, Sonoko, Conan, Haibara, the Detective Boys...
And Vermouth, Kogoro, and Eri.
UNEXPECTED.
But Akako don't care and in a rare fit of FEELING AGAIN, she hugs Kaito and Aoko. Aoko is...still pretty broken, but her conversations in person do last longer than over the phone, especially if Kaito is there. Akako is still...kind of upset because her happy, cheery thing clearly wants to disconnect from the world and NOT ALLOWED.
But after happy reunions, Makoto with his girlfriend, Akako and Hakuba with their friends, Akako gets down to business with Haibara...and Vermouth.
It's pretty obvious to Akako that there is a History here and Haibara does not like Vermouth, but apparently. Vermouth's blood is a cure for a zombie infection.
Akako can force a zombie cure, but that takes a lot of magic. But if there's a natural cure base, she could get more out of it, especially if Haibara could mass produce it somehow. Vermouth, of course, doesn't tell why she's immune because Vermouth, but Akako later gets it out of Kaito that Vermouth is probably involved with the people that had been after Pandora. He explains more about that whole thing (and Kira already knows, so whatever.)
So they decide to start work tomorrow.
And then Gin and Vodka come crashing into the wall. Gin did SOMETHING weird to Vodka during his zombie transformation that made him a giant zombie that would listen to him. Neither of them had actually drunken the thing because they were watching Conan and Kaito, but Vodka had been bit. Gin got hit by the punishment thing because he could remember who Conan really was. And was pretty pissed at him, Kaito, and Vermouth for what happened. (Their names would have come from Vermouth's exclamation, did not expect them.)
So then there's running around the lab, trying to avoid Gin and Vodka and all the zombies they let loose in the place, just trying to stay alive. Akako is mostly taking care of grunt zombies, trying to keep people from getting bit, usually by taking the bite herself and it's mass chaos.
Eventually the dust settles.
Conan and Kaito managed to take down the Vodka zombie and Vermouth had taken down Gin with Ran.
The lab is compromised. So they pack up to move to another lab.
Akako gives Kaito a hug and whispers that it'll be okay before they get into their vehicles and drive off.
Break Down
-Get to the lab!
-Reinforce the lab!
-Try and not go stir crazy.
-Makoto and Hakuba ARE STILL BROS.
-MY THINGS ARE HERE.
-I AM GOING TO HUG MY THINGS.
-Aoko, stop being broken.
-B-but longer talk and this is good sign!!!
-BUT HAPPY REUNIONS FOR ALL.
-Oh hey, Vermouth is apparently naturally immune?!
-Yeah, okay, we can use this.
-Talking with Haibara and her about some stuff.
-Will work on it in the morning.
-Except then Vodka and Gin arrivefifteen minutes late with Starbucks
-VODKA IS A GIANT ZOMBIE THAT LISTENS TO GIN FOR REASONS?!
-Gin is a crazy psycho who can remember the people he killed now and that's scary.
-After Vermouth, Conan, and Kaito.
-THERE ARE ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE AND IT'S CHAOS.
-In the end, Conan and Kaito took down the giant zombie and Vermouth and Ran took down the psycho killer.
-Lab is compromised.
-Pack up to leave.
-One last hug for Kaito and telling him it'll be okay.
-OFF INTO THE NIGHT.
Meaning
WELL I GOT MY THINGS?! And I can still feel things for my things? So that's something.
Vermouth is a mysterious woman hiding something.
So missing a bunch of stuff here.
ALSO HOLY SHIT, SOLSTICE'S SECRET ORGANIZATION GUYS ARE CRAZY.
And...were involved with Pandora...?
HMMM.
Also, haha, yeah, obvious Kaito and Conan not so cool killing a zombie when they can actually put a name to the dude. Akako tries the Hakuba method on Kaito.

-Except then Vodka and Gin arrive
